My Team (Managers)

Navigate to My Team

  • Click My Team tab on the CULearn homepage.

 

Assign learning to a team member

  1. Navigate to My Team.
  2. You will see a list of your team members.
  3. On the right-hand side, select Assign Learning from the Team Actions
  4. On the Assign Learning page, select Register to assign courses or select Assign & Enroll to assign certifications/Curriculums.
  5. Under Select Learning Item., in Search Catalog search for the course by the title (For example, CU101). Select a Due Date for the course and click Select (+ icon).

  1. Repeat step 5 to add as many courses as you like.
  2. Under Add Person, select (+ icon) team members under Direct Team or Alternate Team.

  1. Click Register. The selected members are enrolled in the courses.

 

Approve a course

Some course registrations require a manager approval. To approve a team member, follow the steps below to provide your approval.

  1. Navigate to My Team.
  2. Pending approvals for team member are visible under the Approval column.

 

Run Team reports

To run reports that show a list of all courses that your team is enrolled in as well as their completion status use one of the following reports from the My Team page.

To get to all reports that you have access to:

  • Click the Analytics icon on the left-hand panel. On the Analytics page click the filter and select All to view all reports.

  • We recommend you use one of the following reports to view your team’s status. To run the report, click the report name.
    1. My Team Enrollment Report – This report provides the details of course completion status (both completed and in progress) for your team members. You can see if your team is enrolled in a course by going through this report. If they are not on this report, this course was not assigned to them, or they dropped the course.
    2. My Team’s assigned Courses -This report shows the course assignment details for the team for a given period. If you have multiple levels of teams rolling up to you in your organization hierarchy, this report will show all team members in your sublevels in your reporting hierarchy.
      • The Course Assigned On is a required field and you need to enter the assignment start date and end date. For example, you want to view all courses assigned for the team between September 01, 2020, and Today’s date.
      • You can also use the Course Title(optional) to check the team’s enrollment and completion status for a specific course.
      • After selecting the above 2 filters, click Run to run the report.
    3. Team Course Completion Status– This report will only show team members that completed a course. It does not include team members who are assigned a course and are in the “In Progress” status.
    4. Team Course Completion Status for a Manager including Team Hierarchy – Team course assignment and completion status for the entire sublevel teams rolling up to a manager.

 

Download report to Microsoft Excel

We recommend you download the CULearn generated report to Microsoft Excel (CSV format) for easy analysis using filters and sorting options of your team’s completion status.

  1. After running the report in CULearn, when you see the result set, click the Download icon.
  2. In some reports you may see option to download in the PDF or CSV format. If you want to use sort and filter options, select the CSV tab, and check Data Only. Then, click Download.
  3. Click the download icon to download the generated file to your computer. It typically gets downloaded to the Downloads folder on your computer and opens automatically.
    NOTE: If download does not occur automatically, you will receive a pop up message box that states the “CSV file for Report is now available” with a download icon to click.  Once clicked, an Excel file appears ready to then open.
  4. Once it opens in Excel you can use the Sort and Filter option to filter the data.

View status of your team members individually

Manager can see if a team member has something that is  overdue, has an expired compliance course requirement,  or needs an approval from the manager. They can also view each of their team member’s learning record.

  1. Navigate to My Teams.
  2. Under Direct Team you will see your team members. It also shows the number of Upcoming synchronous courses, Overdue courses and courses awaiting manager Approval.
    NOTE: If you have an Alternate Team, you will see an icon next to Direct Team that will let you switch to Alternate Team to view your team members who don’t directly report to you.
  3. Click on a team member’s name. This will take you to the team member’s learning page.
  4. Click Plan  to see a list of courses that they are enrolled in but have not completed.
  5. Click Completed Learning to view a list of courses they have completed.
  6. You may click on each of your team member’s name on the top to switch to see their learning records.
